Store Policy
Terms and conditions:
As a small business we believe that honesty is the best policy. There is no small text here, but we do have to be strict in terms of upholding our T&Cs in order to protect ourselves. That said, if you feel your case is exceptional and/or falls outside the boundaries listed below, then please don't hesitate to get in touch and we'll try to accommodate you as best we can. We are human, and we want to help. With that out of the way, you can find our terms and conditions below.

Returns and refunds on knives:
knives can be returned within 14 days of having received the item for a full refund, as long as they are returned as closely as possible to the same condition in which they were sent from the workshop.
This is increased to 21 days for international deliveries.
We recommend taking a few photos of your knife on arrival, so we can compare them to our own records, just in case. We take care to ship the knives as safely, securely and quickly as possible, and therefore will not be responsible for any damage incurred during shipping.
Returns, cancellations and refunds on knife making courses:
If we have to contact you for any reason to cancel or rearrange your course date, then you will be entitled to a full refund and we will look to re-book you at the nearest available opportunity. Otherwise, 30% of your course fee is considered a non-refundable deposit.
If you need to cancel, or re-book your course date, and have given at least 4 weeks notice before the date of the course itself, then you will be entitled to the remaining 70% of your course fee as a refund.
You will be given priority access to the next round of course dates once they're released in order to get you booked back in as quickly as possible. There is a £25 administration fee for re-bookings.
If you cancel or rearrange your course with less than 10 working days notice you will only be entitled to a refund of 30% of your original course fee, but will still be given access to priority re-booking.
If you cancel or rearrange your course date with less than 5 working days notice you will not be eligible for a refund or priority re-booking.

As we mentioned before, if you feel that your case is exceptional, and can support it with substantial legitimate evidence, then you are welcome to argue against these conditions.
Some examples of exceptional circumstances include:
Pandemic round 3
new significant disabling physical injury
life threatening or new long term diagnosed illness
serious accident or injury while travelling to the workshop on the day of your course
